When creating the blueprint for its set of Podor baskets, Cassina looked to the expert craftsmanship of artisanal hand-woven African wicker baskets, but with a twist to the aesthetic engendered through its use of modern materials. The technical yarn is woven and sewn by hand, with excellent colour durability even in sunlight and the ability to be recycled when at the end of its lifecycle.
