Missoni Women's Mini Dresses

In 1958, the Milanese department store La Rinascente commissioned Rosita and Ottavio Missoni to design 500 knitted dresses for display in their windows. This inaugural collection, titled ‘Milano-Simpathy’, was lauded for its unconventional use of colour, pattern and knit – here, the Italian House’s path to success was laid. Fast forward to today and Missoni’s mini dresses continue to adorn style-savvy women, many of whom gravitate towards all things bold. The Missoni dress continues to evolve in its silhouette, but whether you choose a mini dress, maxi dress or summer dress, House codes like the zigzag and stripes remain front and centre.
