It wasn’t coincidental that creative director Anthony Vaccarello chose a picture of a young Yves Saint Laurent wearing shorts on a tennis court in Algeria in the ‘50s as the press release picture for Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway. A very similar style in the face of this pleated pair opened the show, setting the tone for the collection’s spotlight on airy tailoring.
