Malbec may have originated in France, but today over 70% of the wine comes from Mendoza, Argentina. Grown in the Nicasia vineyard in La Consulta, Catena’s Zapata 2020 vintage is notable for its velvety texture and depth of flavour. 18 months of maturation lend it a ripe berry palate that pairs well with traditional meat dishes such as tira de asado.
