The Balvenie Fifty collection is inspired by the interwoven stories of craftsmanship at the famous Speyside distillery – a concept that’s immediately recognisable before even the first sip. Edition Two is packaged in an intricate helix structure crafted at a bespoke workshop in Cumbria. Developed by Croglin, it features 100 different elements, with four layers of wood and a 14-karat gold-plated display. Selected by The Balvenie’s Malt Master, Kelsey McKechnie, the 50-year-old cask results in an exceptional single-malt scotch that’s floral and evocative with a nose of sticky toffee, violet and rose. On the palate, unmistakable flavours of matured oak mingle with soft currants, dates and citrus, layered over creamy honey.
