Nodding to Schiaparelli’s creative director Daniel Roseberry’s constant influence from the past, this blazer is inspired by basque – a type of corset used in the Victorian era that wasn't as restrictive as other forms of shapewear. It was defined by a more comfortable form of boning, which, in the case of this denim design, comes via the darts contouring the silhouette.
