Inspired by his career as a barber, William H. Penhaligon created his first fragrance back in 1872 and drew followers from high society with his beguiling aromas. His eponymous olfactory House continues to create scents inspired by elements of British heritage; you can experience the Quercus fragrance, conjured in 1996 as an homage to the English Oak Tree, in this Body & Hand lotion with notes of oak, basil and white florals.
