The potential for a vintage bottle of Krug is determined during the blending of the Maison’s Grande Cuvée. Once the non-vintage blend is complete, the most exceptional vintages are set aside, bottled individually, and aged in Krug’s cellars. The continental, sunny weather of 2011 gave the grapes a fresh crunch, resulting in a Champagne with rich texture and saline finish.
